VIMITAL Joint Rebuild

Glucosamine helps to restore articulatory cartilage and is known for its positive effects on horses with worn down joints. Glucosamine is easily absorbed into the gastrointestinal tract when it is in the form of glucosamine sulfate. It turns into sulphide which is a necessary substance for a good cartilage structure. Chondroitin sulfate enhances the effect of glucosamine and helps prevent cartilage degradation and damage. The MSM contributes to the formation of cells throughout the body, improving the cells’ power to exchange nutrients, oxygen and waste with the blood.

Vimital Form is a treatment administered over a period between 14 and 28 days.

Use

Recommended for young horses in preparation for a major competition or a period of intense training. May also be suitable for older horses with some articulatory stiffness as they produce less endogenous substances.

VIMITAL Joint Rebuild is usually given as an intensive treatment for a period of 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the age and status of your horse. We recommend that you also start with Hyaluronic VIMITAL 100 daily. Once the form is restored (after 2-4 weeks), continue with Hyaluron only to promote optimal production of synovial fluid, which will help the lubrification of the joints and avoid wear and tear.

If the old horse shows increased stiffness after a complete cure, you can give it the product called Joint Rebuild in addition to the third dose. If some form of paralysis is shown, it is imperative to consult a veterinarian. Remember that the best way to protect the joints is to have well-trained and agile muscles!

Dosage

60 ml / day for large horses (550 kg) in the food, distributed over at least two doses.

One package is sufficient for a convalescent period of 2 weeks.

For the others, administer a dose proportional to the weight of the animal or comply with the prescription of the veterinarian.
