VIMITAL Glukosamine

The addition of manganese favors the production (the new formation) of cartilage. Vimital Glucosamine is easily absorbed into the gastrointestinal tract when it is in the form of glucosamine sulphate. Sulphate brings sulphide which is a necessary substance for a good cartilage structure. Other types of glucosamine are less soluble and therefore less absorbent.

Glucosamine is an endogenous substance found, for example, in cartilage, tendons and ligaments. It strengthens the horse's joints during training and prevents the formation of stiffness. With age, the body becomes less and less able to produce glucosamine, which explains why older horses are stiffer and less flexoble in their joints.

Glucosamine is probably on of the most popular and useful food supplements, and a large number of horse owners have experienced how beneficial it can be, especially on old horses.

Dosage

30 ml / day (20g) for large horses (550 kg) in the food, distributed in at least two doses. Duration: 1 kg is enough for 50 days.

For the others, administer a dose proportional to the weight of the animal or comply with the prescription of the veterinarian.
